Re: YooToob?

2013-09-03 Thread RobH!
Ok, thanks for tips; it works perfectly on another 4S here, so happy with
that, I'll go deleting and re-installing.

Just read your text again, and OOooh, now the version on other 4S might be
an older version, it has a real Bak button, now that is more like it. I
found the thing about the video controls, even the pause button, which
didn't pause it anyway.

I'll re-install anyway just in case, then conclude it's gone west in easy
accessibility. I hate fighting apps, they work or they're useless. If it
requires minutes of acute concentration to do what sighted do mindlessly in
seconds, I'm not interested, that's not relaxation.

Rob, I haven't used this app in awhile so please accept my apologies. I
just loaded a video clip and that method no longer works. When your
watching a video clip, you have to tap to show or hide the controls and they
don't stay visible for to long but when they are visible, there is a
play/pause button in the lower right hand corner.

Hope that helps.

For some reason, 2finger double-tap isn't stopping it, have to stop the

even clear it from the app switcher to shut it up sometimes.

A 2 finger double tap should stop the playback of a clip. Flicking 1

2013-09-03 Thread Alan Paganelli
I can't say that this latest version is more accessible then the previous
version but I'm not prepared to say it is less accessible either. I suspect
it's just a little different. For example, in watching 1 video, the play
stop button was in the lower right-hand corner. Then when I played another
clip, it was not in the lower right hand corner. There was a done button
near the top left-hand corner so I'm not quite sure what's up with that but
I had no trouble using the search feature. That still works the same. I
double tapped the search button and that brought up the text box and virtual
keyboard. I then typed my name in. Alan Paganelli and double tapped
search. So that worked as before and I was able to flick right through the
choices. When I found the one I wanted, I just did a double tap to start
playback. When the video finished playing, I was taken back to my previous
place.

Re: YooToob?

2013-09-02 Thread RobH!
For some reason, 2finger double-tap isn't stopping it, have to stop the app,
even clear it from the app switcher to shut it up sometimes.

Thanks, RobH.

A 2 finger double tap should stop the playback of a clip. Flicking 1 finger
left or lets you move through the list of available video clips.

I have just got the iPhone version, had an iMini for it up till now.
I used to have a back button, could someone describe the controls of this
small version, as I couldn't stop it playing and return to the list of
 offerings.

 Thanks, RobH.

Re: YooToob?

2013-09-02 Thread Alan Paganelli
Rob, I haven't used this app in awhile so please accept my apologies. I
just loaded a video clip and that method no longer works. When your
watching a video clip, you have to tap to show or hide the controls and they
don't stay visible for to long but when they are visible, there is a
play/pause button in the lower right hand corner.

Hope that helps.

Alan
