Re: Today View in Notification Center is completely broken in IOS 9.2.1

2016-05-20 Thread William Gallik
Does this thread truly refer to iOS 9 .2 .1 or should it more accurately read
iOS 9.3.2?

Sounds good, I thought this might be the most likely cause, I've had wigets
which maybe didn't make it crash but definitely seemed to make things quite
sluggish as they were connecting to the internet to update and load content.

Hey after deleting all of the widgets I had in there, it is looking like the
Amazon widget may have been the culprit causing my issues as I just went
through reading a few widgets one at a time then hitting done and relaunching
the notification center seeing if it works and after adding the Amazon widget I
got a lot of jumping around and crashing. So removed it and running smoothly.
Will see how it works for awhile. Thanks again for all the suggestions.

I recommend doing a restore of iOS. If that doesn't fix the problem, you might
have to set your device up from scratch. I know, that's a pain, but it may be

Hello. I'm using an iPhone 6S and my software is up to date I am not having any
difficulty with the today view of the notification Center. I appreciate how
frustrating it is when you hit a bug that others can't replicate. If you have
Apple care, i suggest that you contact Apple. If you're near an Apple store,

To delete a widget:
1, Go to the today screen, touch status bar and then swipe down with three
fingers.
2, Do a four finger single tap near the bottom of the screen to jump to the
end of the page.

3, Swipe left one time and you should hear edit, double tap on edit.
4, Now you are on the widget screen. The top list is the widgets you
currently have on your today screen, and the bottom half of the screen is
any available widgets that you currently do not have on your today screen.
5, As you swipe right going down the screen you will find the list of
widgets in the order you have them on your today screen.
6, For each widget you will find a delete button, a button that will open
the widget, and a reorder button. So to delete any widget, just double tap
on the delete button for that widget.
7, To go back to your today screen, just double tap the done button at the
top of your screen.

Hope this helps.

I think it takes afew seconds for all of your widgets to update, since I
experience a short delay as well. In my case, I've got sports scores,
calendar events and weather from Dark Sky. I can't just swipe through the
info immediately when I bring up the Today view. If the delay is more than
5 to 10 seconds, then you might consider removing some widgets from the

Re: Today View in Notification Center

2015-12-15 Thread Wayne Merritt
I think it takes afew seconds for all of your widgets to update, since
I experience a short delay as well. In my case, I've got sports
scores, calendar events and weather from Dark Sky. I can't just swipe
through the info immediately when I bring up the Today view. If the
delay is more than 5 to 10 seconds, then you might consider removing
some widgets from the Today view. For what it's worth, using an iPhone
6S with iOS 9.2.

Good luck,
Wayne

Today View in Notification Center

2015-12-15 Thread Brian Fischler
Wondering if anyone else experiences this as every time I go in to The Today
View VO constantly loses focus and freezes up for a few seconds. I cannot just
flick through the Today view like I can on the notifications and have
experienced this on two different iPhones and in the last few versions of IOS,
does anyone else have this issue? I am wondering if maybe a certain widget I
have installed causes the issue if others are not having it. Thanks,
