RE: Vibration glitch while on silent: interesting glitch

2016-09-30 Thread Paul and Paula Jordan
Hi all. I just checked this out on my IPhone 6 running 10.02. It works as it
always has, vibrating for each ring. I don't have any special ring tones
assigned to anyone.
God bless!

Hi,
I can also confirm this on my iPhone6S. The vibration setting is on in
settings/general/accessibility. When the mute switch on the side of the phone
is set to silent, and VoiceOver is on with speech, the phone only seems to
vibrate once when an incoming call is received and in my case the caller's name
or number is announced. When disabling speech with the two finger double tap
and the switch is still set to silent, vibration is constant as the phone is
ringing.

Re: Vibration glitch while on silent: interesting glitch

2016-09-30 Thread Brett
Hi,

Thinking about it further, when mine doesn't vibrate it doesn't vibrate at
all, not even once. I will need to take more notice in the future, but
thinking about it it seems to only happen for those callers that I have
assigned a custom wring tone too. I don't recall it happening with callers
who just get the default wring tone.

Cheers,
Brett.

Hi,

I too am having this issue while on mute. I have an iPhone 6S with Ios 10.1.
Very strange.

Re: Vibration glitch while on silent: interesting glitch

2016-09-29 Thread Donna
Just thinking out loud here...aside from having "vibrate on ring" & "vibrate on
silent" turned on in Settings, sound; Do you have vibrate turned on in
Settings,,General, Accessibility? Don't know if turning on vibrate in
accessibility will solve your problem, but it is worth checking to see if this
might fix the problem that you are having.
