Re: creating folders with bluetooth keyboard
Podcasts are informative but not good for reference. I greatly prefer text files with directions for how to do things Then I can search for specific words or phrases and jump right to the pertinent information I am reviewing. This is not at all possible with a podcast. . I keep these text files and tutorials on my computer for future reference. Going back to a podcast to find one small detail is tedious while it is fairly simple to search my computer files. When I first got my phone I listened to countless podcasts and learned a lot but it is bothersome to try and take notes for reference while listening. So I feel there is a place for the audio podcast and for concise written directions as well. Sherrie, point well taken. And besides, the instructions for doing this were a bit different in the podcast than they were in the email message that soon followed. On the other hand, if you read a podcast, you, as some have, may learn other things you would like to know. Now, if we can ever get to the point where we can word search podcasts, that would be quite nice. creating folders with bluetooth keyboard
I was listening to David Woodridge's podcast on using a bluetooth keyboard with iDevices. He covers moving an app to an existing folder but he doesn't cover creating a new folder. How do I go about doing this? If we can't look at ourselves, and ask, why? then where does the learning start? -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list. Re: creating folders with bluetooth keyboard
To create a folder the idea is to move one app to the same position of the other app. iOS then creates a folder with a name based on the apps. For example if I move MBraille on top of Fleksy then iOS will create a productivity folder and put them apps in there. Regards Chris Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof!
