editing Excel spreadsheets with VoiceOver
I believe this topic has been discussed before, but sometimes apps change. Is there any app that is accessible with VoiceOver that would allow me to edit an Excel spreadsheet on my iPhone or an iPad? Hi, The Numbers app is supposed to let you view, create and edit spreadsheets. I played with it a long time ago and found that it was way more hassle than it was worth, but it may have improved considerably since then. Hi Ryan, I agree with Tom, I bought numbers as well and did end up looking at an Excel spreadsheet once which I imported to Numbers. I was able to navigate around, but it was not the greatest experience. I am a firm believer that while computer sales are slowing down, there will be a need for laptops and even desktops for a long time to come. I finally received an email last week that my Office 365 subscription is finally due for its upgrade on October 26. After that I will be able to subscribe to one of the new plans like Small Business Premium or whatever it's called which includes a licence to install Office 2013 on up to 5 computers and it also will give me access to the Office Mobile app Microsoft released earlier this year. I have not seen this discussed on here at all and I don't know if it's accessible, partially accessible or not at all, but I will know shortly and I'll definitely post a review at some point at the end of October or beginning of November. Hey Tom, How are you doing? This is what I have found out with many inquiries about this. Office 2010 2013 is not accessible with VO. The solution that has been suggested several times is for me to install VM on the back side of my Air. since I still have my Dell functioning, I am accessing Office from there to complete various tasks for work. The app that I have used on a 30 day free trial to access Excel and is accessible with VO is called Tables. I am in the process of ordering a single license for the Air. The interface is different then Excel and it just takes a little bit to get use to. The price for a user license is $43.54. I'll have to get the website for you, but I just Googled Tables software for Mac. HTH.
