Hello all,
I forwarded an Email conversation to Apple about the voice changing silliness 
after a client was getting the royal run-around from Apple.
Here is there predictable and reasonable response.  Please, if you are 
experiencing this, keep contacting them and if you happen to be using a beta, 
report it through the feedback app.

HI Richard and All, 
I have been having the exact same problem going back and forth with male Siri 
and Samantha and it drives me crazy!  I removed the male Siri from the rotor, 
but Siri just keeps coming back, no matter what I do.  I never know when I turn 
on my phone, what voice is going to be talking.  Maybe the male Siri, maybe 
Samantha, who knows!  I don't think Apple even knows what to do anymore, as 
I've called them many times regarding this consistent issue as well as others, 
but still no go!  So, I wish well to anyone else who might be having this 
problem.

solve it and I have an ugly feeling that 14 won't either.

same as your client I just like the Siri male voice to work cinsistently, it 
only seems to happen when I restart my phone or if I’m using a braille display 
and I turn the speech back on after turning off my display.

Hi Richard.  I have an iphone 11 Pro and my voice keeps changing.  It’s the 
same as your client I just like the Siri male voice to work cinsistently, it 
only seems to happen when I restart my phone or if I’m using a braille display 
and I turn the speech back on after turning off my display.

I use the SIRI Female voice on my iPhone 8 and I have not noticed any issues 
since th e 13.6.1 update, it's using SIRI Female always.

My client has done that, in fact, a couple weeks ago while an Apple 
Accessibility person was doing a screen share with her phone and watched it 
complete the voice downloads, but it keeps happening.

Oh darn! What I tried to say was that I have had the same problem, and I had to

Are you talking about the VoiceOver voice being set to Siri voice?
I have a client with an iPhone 11, running iOS 13.6 not the update yet, whose 
VoiceOver voice had been set to Siri Male, and it keeps changing to female.
She has spent tons of hours with Apple Accessibility and only gotten an answer 
of it’s a software problem that might be fixed in the update ... apparently not.
She prefers when she asks Siri a question that it use the female voice, but her 
regular use of VoiceOver, she prefers the male Siri.

Which phone do you have?
