This doesn’t necessarily mean that something’s wrong with the app. For example, some apps were written before developer ID registration began. However, the app has not been reviewed. Also, there is no way for OS X to check whether the app has been modified or broken since it was released. Change WiFi Network name
I wish to change the name of the WiFi network in my house. I presume I just go into Airport Utility and update in there. Once this is done, is there a need to re-establish connection of every device and re-enter the passcode? Any other things I need to be aware of? Be home in a couple of weeks so will implement then. Re: WiFi
Hi Brian, You have connected Ethernet LAN (from ADSL Modem) to the WAN port on Airport Time Capsule? You have only been connecting to the 2.5GHz Wi-Fi network not 5GHz band. You have some settings incorrect or not set in your Network. Did you drag the 5GHz Bond Network to the top in preferred networks? If you don't have a name for the 5GHz channel of your dual-band network... When you can get the TC Dual-Band Base station Network to show in Airport Utility, click the base station - then click Edit - then under Wireless - click Wireless Options button - select '5GHz network name: add 5GHz to the Network name eg. Bond 5GHz I also would be changing the 5GHz Network channel to Automatic or 149 Click Save after making the changes, then Click Update You will receive this warning: The device and its network services will be temporary unavailable. Are you sure you want to continue? Click continue and your base station will restart. After it completes the restart - You might need to select Pond 5GHz under the Wi-Fi symbol (in menu bar) If you still have problems we will need to go through all your Network settings. ADSL modem settings and Network settings on Mac Airport Utility. Or start from scratch and setup a New Airport Dual-Band Network. Hi Peter, 1. Open AirPort Utility 2. Click on the AirPort Time Capsule icon 3. Click Edit in the smaller window that appears 4. Click the Wireless tab at the top of the next window that appears 5. Edit the Wireless Network Name to something that is simple, short, with no blank spaces or special characters 6. Change the Wireless Password to something different and Verify again tick Remember this password in my keychain 7. Click Update at the lower right of the window and wait a minute for the AirPort TC to restart Might be a good idea to write the details of new Wireless Network name password and keep it in a safe place. - Wireless Routers in 1Password 5 All devices that connected to the previous Wi-Fi Network name will need to connect to the new Wi-Fi Network Name and type the new password and save the password to their keychain.
