When a bulleted or numbered list (nested or otherwise) appears to the right of
a float left image ([[file:foo.jpg|left...]]), the bullet symbols do not
format correctly.
Here's a wikitext test case (see

Here is a list of things:

Are the bullet symbols to left of the rest of the text's left margin? They
shouldn't be. It only happens when something floats to the left of the list
(like an image or a float:left div). Also, notice the indentation of the first
line of text (preceding the list).

This is normal HTML/CSS behavior. As far as I'm concerned, this was one of the
worst decisions ever made in CSS. The fix is to add (for vector):
#content ul, ol {
list-style-position: inside;
}
But I'm not sure what kind of effect that might have on our existing content,
nor do I know how well it is supported in browsers. Perhaps it's time to find
out however. I'm rather sure there was an existing bugreport for this, but I
cannot find it at this time

But than I found a strange thing. All pagetitles with special characters (german umlaute: ä, ö, ü, ß) are missmatched. But in the text of the article this problem is not existing - only the pagetitles. After some tests and control between the original database and the test-database (where I made the upgrade) I found some interesting things. Both databases have the same missmatch in the pagetitles, but the translator works in the old version correct and translate it. In the new version I found after the upgrade older files with different code. It seems to be a problem in the translater script of the newer version 1.15.2. Some informations about the server: Ubunut 9 PHP 5.2.4 MySQL 5.0.51a Apache 2 It's a virtual webserver and both installations are on the same machine. Has someone a idea where I could search? Comments (to my knowledge) cannot be removed from bugzilla. (combined with the fact there is no preview, its a really annoying part of bugzilla) So if I understand correctly it would have an extra separator after the last element. Didn't have IE handy to test with but I actually figured it would do worse than that. I think it would have the extra separators in IE8, and in IE7 and lower it would have no separators (this is just a guess, for all i know it could totally blow up in IE). In these cases, these usernames should probably be changed to Brad old or something similar. Replacing the underlines with spaces in this case would produce the username Brad , and the space at the end would still make the username invalid. At the moment, I'm creating English Wikipedia accounts for all usernames that existed in the Nostalgia Wikipedia.
