Hi, Few weeks ago, I had a similar idea. I had thought at a tool like a tumblr with one picture for one day. The illustration who is published must have to a link with the date. Some examples : * 1st august a paint of Rütlischwur * 18th februar, a photo has been taken the 18th februar In all the cases, we explain - with some words - the subject of the illustration. I just didn't find the time to look if we have enough illustrations on Commons for this concept ''one date, one photography''. I think now is the right time to stop this discussion, which started in an interesting direction (points about copyright law), but is leading nowhere. I am not able to differentiate a repro station from another one, and I would not be able to recognize if the design of the reprostation comes from Bruno or not, so I'll take Ludo's word for it that he created it. But I, for one, prefer to stick to what I know: the reprostation provided by Bruno was duly paid by Wikimedia CH; I don't know where you got the idea that is was provided for free. You people make me sick, when you take the achievements of others and set up a prohibition against their using them! I'm sorry if you get sick so easily, but I think the issue has been somewhat exagerated. I haven't seen anyone here setting up a prohibition against anyone else using anything. The people I know in this mailing-list all work in good faith for promoting free content, and making sure that their work *can* be used. First mail of this new year, so I wish you a happy new year. A little mail to inform the association that I obtained a pass-press for a conference of Ueli Steck in Lausanne the 2th march 2012. Ueli Steck is a swiss climber. He is the man who climbs Eiger in 2 hours and 47 minutes. It's actually one of the most famoust climber in the world. Ueli Steck have an article on en.wp, de.wp, fr.wp and it.wp but 0 photography. So ... If you see another famous swiss with no photography on Wikipedia, say it. Wikimedia CH can find conferences or public events to create free photographies. Hello, The annual report of the Wikimedia Foundation was published yesterday. You can download the pdf at this url : https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Annual_Report One of the activities of WikimediaCH was mentioned: event photographies (football match, *Prix de Lausanne*), with a photography of Fanny Schertzer during a football match. However I'm a little bit sad that this report does not explicitly mentions Wikimedia CH. Wikimedia CH helps us a lot, with is name and financially. So, thanks to WMCH. And I don't doubt that our board can use this fact to discuss with the Foundation about WMCH's activites. I have not criticized your work on the current www.wikimedia.ch. I just said that it is not a tool for communicate and to know the association and its projects to the public and the press.
