Good report Netha !! Unfortunately, no woman has volunteered for first election of Executive Committee of Wikimedia India. And there was no woman in the founding members too. May be for the next election we may see new members taking up the task. On the participation of woman for Wikimedia India, Noopur has volunteered as Delhi sig chair. Mitra and Noopur are members of communication team. And few has volunteered chapter's activities and has signed up for different sigs. The other participants and chapters have also extended their help in launching gender sensitive projects in India. I will be writing my experiences in detail on my personal blogs also. We have already got an offer from a Public library in Kerala to conduct an outreach program. Will try to get more women into it!
