Gotta agree with you both - it's getting hard to find new releases that

Yeah, I know what you mean - so many people bite them since BC, we've become
used to hearing second-rate copy artists. A new techno record would be nice,
but it seems like it's reggae only at the minute. I guess that's why I was

But isn't that the problem? Even though these records are nice (I'll
probably like the one you recommend!) maybe we should be expecting a little
bit more from artists? A prime example of taking the sound forward was
Isolee's 'Beat Mon Plage' - it's that kind of track I'm always waiting to

I can imagine that the stuff he did with that semi-industrial group (can't
remember the name sadly) is pretty rare.
Axis 009A and B are difficult to get hold of in the UK.
Every Dog has its Day vol 1 LP is virtually gold dust nowadays.
Millsart - Humana MUST be in that list imo, one of the most beautiful
tracks ever...
Also like IF very much, but a lot of people don't I think (or am I
wrong???)

Are they very collectable though? You see pretty much all of the Axis

I'd suggest:

HM: Drama EP

Dark Matter: The Subjects (features quite rude remixes by Mills,
Personal favorite Mills track, miles ahead off the rest:
- Gammaplayer on the Humana EP!!! (as millsart)
Good runner up's:
- Waveform Transmission vol 1.
- DJ Hell Allerseelen (Jeff Mills Mix)
- Every Dog has his day vol. 1
- At first sight
- X-102
Just wondering but wasn't Mills also behind
The mix he did for Laurent Garniers Crispy Bacon is pretty rare is it not?
Remco
Are they very collectable though? You see pretty much all of the Axis

Axis 800, Time Machine on vinyl is pretty collectable!
Oh yeah 'If' is essential to, love that cat vocal on that track!!!
The absolute GEMM would be that Axis X release (axis 2?) that he did with
robert hood. That sleep cycles track on the M-plant re-issue of Minimal
Nation comes from that record.
And yeah, it exists, I actually got to hold BMG's copy in these 2 hands...
Also pretty rare would be that AX-20
I'm not sure how things get prioritised in the Crate Diggin' column, but
between the lot us we've already listed the biggest *and* the most
collectible (surely the biggest is The Bells, and the most collectible
is Every Dog Vol 1?) - all bases are covered, and Tom is saved yet more
work :)
