I preferred it when they were all just faceless techno bastards.
Fatima Yamaha always sounded like a made-up moniker - and not offensive. A
town in Portugal/an Arabic name mixed with a Japanese motorcycle company?
Naive of me, but what I think is great about this music is that it joins

I don't know a thing about this particular record or artist. It just reminded

Who’s persona in particular are you suggesting he’s ripping off ?
Or are you suggesting that he’s somehow cashing in on the long tradition of
half Japanese / half Turkish female electro producers ?

How do you know it was for no reason ?
He’s not a wanker actually.
So educate me on my ignorance grand master, how is that behavior not fucked
up? What exactly am I falling for?
If some white kid from Nebraska releases a hip hop album with a fake
picture of him as a black male and recording alias, that would be fucked
up. How is this guy any different?

But feel free to mail me privately if you'd like to discuss further.

and simple.
There is already a dearth of actual women and minorities in the music game,
the last thing we need is dudes
the funny thing is; you fell for it and then felt compelled to shout out your
ignorance by calling him a wanker. just like that. but i guess thats just the
way of the world.
