I just received my copy of Surgeon's ``Body Request'' album - his first
on his own Dynamic Tension imprint. The album starts off with ``Hunger'',
a foray into ``Red Two''-ish Clarkean techno with clinks and clonks thrown
in for good measure. ``Setting The Scene'' begins with a

that I either lost interest in or didn't take time to complete the tracks.

I picked up a D record after meeting the owner (Rexx
aka XXX) at Threads one day and checking out the
label. I liked it so I bought it. I think he writes
under a few of those names for a look of diversity.
He seemed pretty cool, down to earth. He's played out
at Metro before I think. I don't
it definitely has something to do with the minus crew. i listened to it on
saturday at record time. really nice, dark minimal, techno. would have
bought it but there were too many great records to chose from. looking into
the label - artist - etc.
