Hi,

which one in general sounds better (close to a tr-909)?
Um, neither. The 707 sounds pretty harsh and digital -- the best sounds
are the claps and the hats. The
707 is house drummachine, mr.fingers´Amnesia album was mostly done with this one
like most deep house proj from that era, nice machine but digital...check the
rim-shot, you´ll recognize it instantly.it´s the follow-up to the 909. 606 i
think is the drummatrix and its analog which in my opinion
site. also check the video of my DEMF performance which relied heavily on
that little drum box (hows that for a live demo of what it can do?) :^)

use. Juan Atkins used it alot on his latest releases. The DEMF Electribe
ER-1 demo can be viewed at http://groovetecg.com/demf.

Mind you, a 707 is MIDI, which makes it a great first piece of equipment
for a techno musician to be. 606's have to worry about sync boxes, kenton,
and all that expensive add-on stuff. And yes, the 606 is more expensive
due to its better sounds, cuteness, and modifiability. The 707 couldn't
