Hi Dan.
We have a few customers that are using Tableau and they have been using the Web
Data Connector. Here is the link to the documentation:
http://tableau.github.io/webdataconnector/docs/
I tested this out this week and it was quite easy to expose data from 4D and
ingest it into Tableau
So, when I last reported effortless success of my V11 to V17 migration I’d used
a v14 version that I’d experimented with years earlier and everything seemed to
be working well…. I went back to the original v11 version just to make sure
that any and all updates to the source were accommodated
We use
e.g.
C:\intraplan\intraplan server\intraplan.exe
C:\intraplan\intraplan server\server database\intraplan.4dc
C:\intraplan\intraplan.4DD
C:\intraplan\intraplan.4DIndx
... and so on ..
The folder C:\intraplan\intraplan server is generated by the built process of
4D.
The advantage is here
I know this is an old post, but did you find a way to connect tableau? I am
using the latest Tableau version and 4D/4D ODBC V16.2. I was told by the
people at Tableau that ODBC must be Version 3.0 or higher.
Any clues are highly appreciated.

Hi Janet
Back in march we had the same issue. we opened case 138474 with 4D.
Sort term: We just went back to using the (4DInternetsCommand) older plugin
from v15.5 (it’s dated 10/20/17) with the v16 server.
Though our long term plan is to convert all emails from CR to CRLF because
that
Thank you for this! I do have access to nightly builds, and I will try the new
one. I am using the 64-bit applications on a Mac, so, does that mean the v15
version of Internet Commands will not work, if this new build does not work for
me?

TaxJar has a great api that works as advertised. You build a c_object, send it
via http_request and process (deconstruct) the object returned.
You send the token they want in the headers array that is part of http_request.

It doesn’t matter really...

I just ran some tests using a web mail program and confirm the issue you
reported. I have been using 4D 16 in production since late 2017 and no one has
complained, I suppose since most use Apple Mail where everything seems OK.
As a work-around, I turned off that default and ensured the body
