You are right. But, little correction.
Go to GoldWave, Press ctrl+O to open the required file you need to
convert,
press alt+C to get effects menu, and there you have stereo sub-menu.
there you can use channel mixer, or pan to make this audio heard to
center.

Channel Mixer under it. Here you will find some options. Explore them and
