I applied 21281 on top of the patches mentioned on my last comment. As I

I can confirm that command s2disk can disable my laptop.
First usage put laptop in state which causes that every next usage of s2disk

With acpi_osi set to either of the suggestions you made:

I just checked 2.6.30.rc6 (22ef37eed..) and it has the same problem wrt to
sleep.
