Hi everyone
I have a customer that has a requirement to backup a S/390 system. The
S/390 is a card residing in a RS6000.
Has anyone had any experience with this. I am trying to find out if the
client does a complete system backup or only backups up the file system
Please excuse my ignorance.
Jeff,
You might be able to get TDP for Notes (ADSMConnect Agent
for Lotus Notes) to work on Domino R5 but this
is not a supported platform by IBM/Tivoli.
TDP for Lotus Domino is the only supported "agent"
for Domino R5.

Hi ,
S/390 system is emulated in on RS6K - S/390 DASDs are emulated in files -
you have to shutdown S/390 OS
to get consistent system backup of S/390 environment. I solved somethink
similar on OS/2 version - if you are
interested on details contact me directly.

I believe If the management class has copymode=absolute it should do a full

What I would like to do is be able to have two management classes in the

betweeen them.
Hi,
Would I like to know how I can know in which volume is

Where can I find a select for this question.?
Any info will be good received.
Thanks for all,

The TSM client for Open Edition MVS only backs up the MVS Open Edition file

These are UNIX-style file systems with a UNIX-type directory structure that
can coexist on MVS with the standard MVS file systems.
You can't use TSM to back up standard/legacy type
