I think this depends on the language your server and clients are running with...

shouldnt have

I've done Netware NDS restores. Netware 4.11, anyway.
It's possible, it can be done, but if you have any NDS replica left on your
network anywhere, it's much easier to just promote it to master, let
everything synchronize, and then move the master again.
Just my opinion, YMMV.

There is dbx utility in AIX to check what exactly happened .U need to
preserve core file.
Another thing I would look into bos.rte file maintenance level and see if
this as some APAR with Tivoli file sets.
Look in TSM website.Add be sure ur both OS and TSM are at latest Patch

I think I'm more than a bit confused. So, according to your first paragraph, I

Common problem !
Look into the use of braces... { }
When something gets altered like this use braces to explicitly specify the
filespace name...
so on your query try either
q backup {/inbound/site}/*
or
q backup {/inbound}/site/*
One of the two will give you what you want...
I had the same experience.
I ended up removing the original filespace (/inbound/site), but you could
rename it...as you
have another (/inbound)look/check via the q filespace command.
GUI doesn't work, but command line should (check)...q back or q arch...
good luck.
hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure as long as you just CHANGE the archive group it will change

If Dale wanted to change the retention value for 3_Month to actually 1 month
he would be better of changing the retention value for 3_Month to 1

Probably not... however, if you are using AIX, you could run the dsmulog

See the AIX Admin Guide for details.

This is documented in the Admin Guide about directories stored in backup

When directory information is stored for backups, TSM attempts to keep all

Try using tapeutil (or some 3575 library tool, like mtlib on 3494) to mount
