George, Did a backup run between the time that the filesystem was removed and the new file system created? I believe that when /inbound/site was removed the data was lost. If a backup was run TSM would mark the data as inactive. Now when your are try to restore to the new filesystem

Common problem ! Look into the use of braces... { } When something gets altered like this use braces to explicitly specify the filespace name... so on your query try either q backup {/inbound/site}/* or q backup {/inbound}/site/* One of the two will give you what you want...

I had the same experience. I ended up removing the original filespace (/inbound/site), but you could rename it...as you have another (/inbound)look/check via the q filespace command. GUI doesn't work, but command line should (check)...q back or q arch... good luck. hope this helps. TW

Our largest TSM server backs up about 30 medium-sized servers and 425 workstations. Total data ~ 150 GB/day. Largest client sends 18 GB/day, Oracle TDP sends about 12 GB/day, the rest is all small files. TSM server is a very ordinary RS6000 F50, with a mixture of SSA and SCSI disk, 1GB memory.

Can you explain what you mean by only operate one at a time.. 18 months ago we had 9840's and DLT's in an STK9710 with ACSLS 5.2. No problem just defining two libraries on the same /dev/mchanger address. Wasn't that TSM supported it directly, there just wasn't anything to keep it from working.
