Found the problem The permissions were changed on the C drive! I had
no access to it. Found this out when it told me I could not create
C:\trace.txt!
When the scheduled backup runs it runs as the local system user correct?

I am having the same problem with SQL 7.0 SP2. I have had this issue open
with Tivoli support for 2-3 months now with no resolution. I did install
SQL 7 with different character set. Version 1.1 work fines. I was never
able to get 2.2 to work at all. So far this is the only fixtest they have
a beautiful day. Don't let it get away. -- Bono

I had this problem on my 4.11 servers with TSM client 4.1.2.0. Per Tivoli I
had to upgrade to client version 4.1.2.16. The other option was to stop
running the dsmc scheduler use cron to kick off my backups. So far they
seem to be running ok. They have been running this version for about 2
to 4.1
server.
I never tried backing up restoring a node with 3.1 client 4.1 server...

Anyone know the command on a 3494 library to checkin volumes
We are looking into ordering the tapes from Imation. They are a lot cheaper
than IBM.

Yup, we have an order in for 1500
I had to go from 3.1 to 3.7 then to 4.1.2
The reason is that I did not want to lose any backups during the upgrade.
The 3.1 client is not supported under 4.1 server but is on 3.7 I brought
server up to 3.7 upgraded all clients to 4.1.2 (latest available at the
time) then upgraded to 4.1 server.
it inspected 18
objects backed up 0 objects. I assume this is because of the incremental
that ran last night.
Has anybody seen this? My main concern is that my data is not really being
backed up!!!
