It's an open question why IBM chose to do it that way, because it was
surely possible to program the control PC to use the appropriate gripper

Aren't Oracle files .ora? This works for me.

SAP's version of Oracle isn't quite standard Oracle. The files in this
directory have various extensions, mainly *.svd and *.001, but it's an
idea. I can try these specifically.

You need the various extensions (nsf, ntf and box) to cover all the
different Domino DB types.
I'm not sure why you need the upper/lower case combinations, or even if you
*do* need them - I inherited the setup.

We've seen something similar when the TDP software (ie, backint) didn't
match the Prole program.
I see you're running backint 3.2.0.12, which is quite new.
Did you upgrade prole together with backint? Did you restart prole process

Sorry to hammer this home, but ...
I didn't do anything differently except copy the log files
after the applylogs command was issued.
I'm guessing that what you're saying is that
- you issue the applylogs command
- the command waits until you copy a log file into the folder
- it applies

I've found that this is possible to restore a database with the

I did also find that I had to copy these log extents into the

Try the
-commadelimited

standard comma-delimited format, which is understood by most PC
spreadsheets, although not easily by humans. I'm not sure about SAS.
