Even easier is to use TDPOSYNC SYNCDB, and it lets you put a date range in. Then you can select by reviewing the date of each backup you want to keep/delete. Much safer than typing the correct number in. If you use a crosscheck command daily, then old backups shoudln't hang around. Rob

You cannot fool windows 2000 by just changing the name of the server in the dsm.opt file. The server name must actually be the node you are restoring or the registry will not restore. At this point you will likely have to restart your recovery, I hope this was a test. Rob Schroeder Famous
