David,
I dont know about anyone else, but here is a snip from an error log
regarding journal crashes:

10/05/2005 14:56:05 jnlWrite(): Write failed, rc -190 from commWrite().

Len/Wayne,
We do nightly fulls with hourly logs (incrementals) 8am-8pm. Our
Exchange admins do a fair amount of restores, and appreciate having an
RPO of 1 hour instead of 24 hours. If your company is willing to lose
24 hours worth of email, I wouldn't worry about it - stick with fulls.
But I

I have a continual problem child with a large windows fileserver.
This server has 2 user volumes, one 1.8TB and one 1.3TB, each have 2mil+

I didnt see any response, so I'll try again - has anyone successfully
installed multiple journal services on a single windows client?

I've been trying to clean up some bogus failures in our TDp environment
by excluding databases that are offline or have known problems.
below I've pasted part of the log and the dsm.opt showing that although

Thanks, Del.
Does this also explain why I am having trouble excluding non-default
instance databases, or do I need to add something to my exclude
statement for those?

Del,
Here is a snip of the dsm.opt and log, but after traveling through other
logs, I also seem some default instances with the same errors, so I am
assuming offline databases fall under the same category you referenced
earlier. The issue is that the schedule is showing up on the TOR as
being
TSM server 5.2.2.0 5.2.4.3
TSM client 5.3.0.15
TOR client 5.3.1.0
Recently we started receiving duplicates of all our Tivoli Op Reporting
daily reports, and I cant figure out why. We havent modified TOR in
months. I checked for duplicate services running, etc, but nothing
obvious shows up.
