Renaming/deleting versioned files this way certainly involves more
effort than using a tool like AnkhSVN.
However I am so used to play with TortoiseSVN in my solutions that I
never notice that difference.

I am a not entirely happy Ankh user. The plug-in will crash whenever you
edit XML: .config files, .build fil
This is very interesting. But surely productivity is harmed by having to do

You're not - I'm so unhappy of AnkhSVN I dropped it the same day I
installed it. But let me tell you - refactoring without the support of
such a plugin is quite a pain in the ass.
