CustomerSyncService - Changes History data issue

2017-06-26 Thread cv
Hello Nadine,

As per our discussion on this thread
https://groups.google.com/d/topic/adwords-api/cMX6QVfwxcM/discussion

I am creating new thread for the history mismatch or history not getting
issue.

I was getting all the changes history rights until this week. But, One of
my customerId had created New campaign and uploaded 5 adgroups, added ad
extensions, added keywords and so all are shown as more than 20 changes
under Adwords change history but API returned only 4 changes.

Is anything changed recently?

Thanks,

FeedItem Keyword Targeting for Multiple Keywords

2017-06-26 Thread sam
We set a target keyword for FeedItems using:
  $feed_item->keywordTargeting = $target_keyword_object;

Is it possible to, and if it is, how do we... target multiple keywords for
a single FeedItem?

Thanks!

Re: Linking ADW and Google My Business for location extensions

2017-06-26 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Zach,

You will be able to maintain the location extensions once the existing GMB
account is linked with the AdWords account and the filters are created in
the GMB account. With these filters you can set the location extensions at
the AdGroup level or the Campaign level. Please check this

 guide
for more details. On the other hand, without the GMB account being linked,
you will not be able to manage the location extensions. You could either
request the client to link that GMB account or grant you access to their
GMB account.

If the manual location extensions exist in the given AdWords account, it
will be tagged for the auto migration. For each unmigrated location in the
client Account, the auto migration will create a new unverified business
location  in a newly
created Business Account (for the lowest level Manger account) and label it
 with its
AdWords Customer ID. The original manually created feed items

 representing
that location in AdWords will be removed. Please check this
 blog for
more details about the auto migration.

Thanks,
Sreelakshmi, AdWords API Team

Hi,

If you call the TargetingIdeaService with a keyword which is incorrectly
spelled, this service returns the stats for the corrected word. Ideally,
the correction is very close to what Google search will suggest while you
are trying to search for that specific word or phrase. You could check here

 for
an old forum discussion about the keywords with incorrect spelling.

   1. I see that the AdGroupId is changed to the PHP_INT_MAX value. I would
   suggest that you post this question in the library's issue tracker
    so they can help
   you out.
   2. In v201705 of AdWords API, you can only add features related to
   Dynamic Search Ads to AdGroups of type SEARCH_DYNAMIC_ADS. Please see this
blog
   post

 for
   more details. I'm afraid not all AdTypes in the UI are available in the
   API. The Ad templates available in AdWords API are provided here
   .
   You'll need to create the Dynamic Display Ad in the UI and then use Feed
   Services
    to
   manage the Dynamic Display Ad data using AdWords API.

Regards,
Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: how can I get soap response for my service calls in v201705 of adwords php library ?

2017-06-26 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi Deepa,

You need to set the logging level for the default loggers in your
adsapi_php.ini as shown here
. For a
more customized logging, you need to specify your own logger by providing a
logger that implements LoggerInterface
 when
you build the AdWords API session.

Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: how to get Adwords report for third party user using Refresh and Access Token ?

2017-06-26 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

This error

 occurs
when there is no link between the manager account authenticated in the
request and the client account specified in the headers. This could be
because the link between the manager and client account was removed or your
OAuth credentials are for a user who does not have access to the client
customer ID specified or any of its manager accounts. Could you use
CustomerService.getCustomers() to check the list of accounts directly
accessible by the OAuth2 credentials? You can also use
ManagedCustomerService

 to
get the list of accounts linked to your manager account.

Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: can i create campaign in others accounts?

2017-06-26 Thread 'Sreelakshmi Sasidharan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

To create a campaign via the API, you can use the CampaignService
.

Pleas check this

 sample
to understand how to do that in Java. Samples in other languages can also
be found here
. To access
a specific client account via the API, the request should be authenticated
by a user who has access to that client account (user on that client
account or user on the linked manager account). If you are looking for
instructions to add a user to an account, please check this
 document.

If your question was different, could you please elaborate?

Thanks,

Linking ADW and Google My Business for location extensions

2017-06-26 Thread Zach Vinson
I run an Adwords account for a client that has two different physical
locations (both in the same ADW account). The client has Google My Business
set up already (not sure if it's separate for each location or if both
locations are managed from the same GMB profile), but I do not have access
to their GMB profile. GMB is *not* linked to Adwords at this time.

What's the best way for me to handle the migration of their location
extensions? Is it going to cause trouble if Google automatically creates
new GMB profiles for these locations when those profiles already exist but
aren't linked? Or do I need to try to get log-in access to the client's GMB
to link it to Adwords and try to coordinate the migration myself?

Thanks!

mistakes in keywords in keyword planner

2017-06-26 Thread Святослав Степаненко

Hi.

I try to understand, should I use current keyword for my campaigns, for
example “job drver” (yes, with mistake).

I check in Keyword Planner through interface and get “job driver” (right
spelling) and all info about volume, competition etc.

But when I use API, I get right info about volume and competition, but I
didn’t get right spelling, API return “job drver”, not “job driver” as I
expect.

What parameters should I use to get “job driver” instead of my source
keyword?

Thank you.

adding or updating header in structured snippets extension

2017-06-26 Thread Oliv
Is there a way to add or update headers in structured snippets extension?

I've seen ads online that contain e.g. "Highlights" or "Services" and those
are not available in the list of headers.

Does anybody have any insights in this? Thanks!

Re: Adwords API using PHP getting error when GetRefreshToken.php is run

2017-06-26 Thread Chris
I'm facing the EXACT same problem.
I used composer to install the files.

But, as the other Chris states, every single file I try to use seems to
mismatch the folder structure.
I was able to get the GetRefreshToken.php to work, but only by virtue of
editing line 19 to read require '../../../../../vendor/autoload.php', with
an extra ..

Now, if I try to run any reports (eg.
/vendor/googleads/googleads-php-lib/examples/AdWords/v201705/Reporting/GetReportFields.php),

etc, they come up with similar directory structure problems, with similar
errors on line 19.
Very frustrating!!

If I move the .php file itself up one directory, the GetReportFields.php
runs but I get the following:

*Fatal error*: Uncaught InvalidArgumentException: Config file not found as
specified: 'adsapi_php.ini' or in the home directory:
'/Users/chris/adsapi_php.ini'. in /Users/chris/Google Drive//vendor/googleads/googleads-php-lib/src/Google/AdsApi/Common/ConfigurationLoader.php:63.

Can you provide us with a sense of what the folder structure *should* look
like?
That might prove exceptionally helpful for me, and others.

AdGroupCriterionError.PRODUCT_PARTITION_DOES_NOT_EXIST @
operations[1].operand.criterion.parentCriterionId;
trigger:'TempCriterionId{id=6476}'. But after that I checked if this

Adding / updating headers in Structured Snippets Extensions

2017-06-26 Thread Oliv
Hi,

Is there a way to add new or update existing header in structured snipped
extensions??

I've been seeing ads online that contain e.g. "Highlights" or "Services"
which are not included in the list available.

Thanks!

Responsive Ads - Disk space limit per account?

2017-06-26 Thread timur . saglar
Dear Google-Team,

in the responsive ads documentation it is not mentioned if there is any
disk space limit per account / limit of images you can upload per account.

Can please you provide me this information if there are any limits?

Best Timur

PRODUCT_PARTITION_ALREADY_EXISTS and PRODUCT_PARTITION_DOES_NOT_EXIST

2017-06-26 Thread Илья Бовбель
Hello!
I' ve got a problem, when i'm trying to create a new node in ProductOfferId
tree, using AdGroupCriterionService class.
Before creating the node, I check, if this node exists - "get" method tells
me that there's no such node yet. Then I do request to create node (I'm
using php library for my requests, so operands in my request are):
Array
(
[0] => Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201705\cm\AdGroupCriterionOperation Object

And I got no answer, just this exception:

operations[0].operand.criterion,
AdGroupCriterionError.PRODUCT_PARTITION_DOES_NOT_EXIST @
operations[1].operand.criterion.parentCriterionId;
trigger:'TempCriterionId{id=6476}'

But then, I checked critetions in this campaing, and found out that this
node had been created.
Can you help me to understand, what is wrong?

Re: Creating a Location Hierarchy Using LocationCriterionService

2017-06-26 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

You can follow this guide
 to
setup location targeting using AdWords API. If you would like to target
specific locations, you need to create a Location

 object
with an appropriate code to target a region. You can use the
LocationCriterionService

 to
look up the criterion ID for a location. If you like to target within the
proximity of a location, you need to create a create a Proximity

 object
and specify a lat/long pair or use the address fields which will be
geocoded into a lat/long pair. The AddCampaignTargetingCriteria

 Java
example shows how to add different types of targeting criteria to a
campaign. The LookupLocation

 Java
example shows how to use LocationCriterionService to look up location
criterion codes. Example code in other languages is provided here
.

Regards,
Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

Re: Request account permissions

2017-06-26 Thread 'Shwetha Vastrad (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API Forum
Hi,

You can follow this guide

to
set up authentication for web application flow. If you would like to get
the list of accounts that are directly accessible by a set of OAuth2
credentials, you need to use CustomerService.getCustomers()

 method
without setting the clientCustomerId header. If you would like to get the
list of accounts under a manager account, you need to use
ManagedCustomerService.get()

 method
as shown in the GetAccountHierarchy

 Java
example. Example code in other languages is provided here
.

Shwetha, AdWords API Team.

If you can use the "Reply to Author" share your reporting HTTP logs, it
would be most helpful. I want to make sure if this is related to the same

2017-06-26 Thread rcardstest
Hi there,

I used following code for adding Ad to a AdGroup.

const AD_GROUP_ID = '46481580951';

public static function runExample(AdWordsServices $adWordsServices,
AdWordsSession $session, $adGroupId) {
$adGroupAdService = $adWordsServices->get($session,
AdGroupAdService::class);

// Create the expanded Dynamic Search Ad. This ad will have its
headline
// and final URL auto-generated at serving time according to domain
name
// specific information provided by DynamicSearchAdsSetting at the
// campaign level.
$expandedDSA = new ExpandedDynamicSearchAd();
// Set the ad description.
$expandedDSA->setDisplayUrl('www.abc.com');
$expandedDSA->setFinalUrls(['www.abc.com']);
$expandedDSA->setDescription('Dummy description');

// Create the ad group ad.
$adGroupAd = new AdGroupAd();
$adGroupAd->setAdGroupId($adGroupId);
$adGroupAd->setAd($expandedDSA);

// Create the operation.
$operation = new AdGroupAdOperation();
$operation->setOperator(Operator::ADD);
$operation->setOperand($adGroupAd);

// Create the ad on the server and print some information.
$result = $adGroupAdService->mutate([$operation]);
$newAdGroupAd = $result->getValue()[0];
$expandedDSA = $newAdGroupAd->getAd();
printf(
"Expanded Dynamic Search Ad with ID %d and description '%s'
was"
. " added.\n", $expandedDSA->getId(),
$expandedDSA->getDescription()
);
}

//

I got 2 error ,

1- EntityNotFound.INVALID_ID @ operations[0].operand.adGroupId;
trigger:'AdGroupId: 2147483647',As my
const AD_GROUP_ID = '46481580951'; is converted integer.

2- When I modified the XML to overcome above error, I got new error
Uncaught exception 'Google\AdsApi\AdWords\v201705\cm\ApiException' with
message '[OperationAccessDenied.OPERATION_NOT_PERMITTED_FOR_AD_GROUP_TYPE @
operations[0].operand.ad;

Can anyone help me out with the issue.

Thanks,
Prashant More

 Hello,

 Can you confirm what version of the API you're using to make this

 this may vary by version and knowing your version will help me narrow down.

 I believe that this is currently under the "UNKNOWN" umbrella, so I'm
 going to look into seeing if we can publish a new enum value for these ad
 types.

Re: CustomerSyncService (v201509) Bug, ? Service not returning added or deleted adExtensions?

2017-06-26 Thread cv
Hello Nadine,

After our discussion I was getting all the changes history rights
until this week.

One of my customerId has added new Adgroups and Ads and keywords within it,
but from customerSyncService I was not getting whole data.

Is anything changed recently? Or how could I retrive same.

Thanks,

 Greetings!

 Thanks for providing the additional information privately. It was
 really helpful. You probably noticed that the CustomerSyncSelector

  has
 a request for either campaignIds

 or feedIds
 .

 In this case, you'll need to pass in *feedIds* because it's the
 back-end feeds that were affected rather than the campaign. In order to
 retrieve the feeds, call the FeedService

 and retrieve the Id

 for each feed. Then, call the CustomerSyncService

  with
 those *feedIds*.

 You'll need to change one other thing as well. By default, you're
 getting back the Pacific time zone since you didn't specific a timezone.
 You'll want to explicitly specify a timezone at the end of each of your
 date/times from this timezone list
 .
 For example, a min date for CustomerSyncService could be specified
 *20160218
 08 America/Chicago*.

 Hi,

 We use AdType predicate equals "DYNAMIC_SEARCH_AD" to download DSA ad
 from AD_PERFORMANCE_REPORT.

 We have both old DSA ad and expanded DSA ad, now only old DSA ad can be
 downloaded while expanded DSA ad cannot. However if we remove the AdType
 predicate, expanded DSA ad can be downloaded together with old DSA ad.

 What is the correct AdType for expanded DSA ad? We've tried
 EXPANDED_DYNAMIC_SEARCH_AD etc but does not work.

 Thanks.

we're still seeing lots of 500 error response codes from the reporting

using exponential backoff, as well. Is there anything we can do on our end
