RE: How to query the fraud status of the linked accounts

2019-10-10 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Guofu,

In the AdWords API, what is available is the ability to retrieve a specific
MCC's sub-accounts using the ManagedCustomerService.get() method. However, the
returned ManagedCustomer (account) does not contain any status information.

Additionally, if what you meant by fraud accounts is inactive accounts, then
based on this blog post, such accounts would no longer be returned. Also, if
you indeed meant finding accounts with a 'Fraud' status, then I'm afraid that
this is not available as such a status is not supported in any of the AdWords
API's services or reports.

Thanks and regards,
Peter

Video campaigns not brought down using CampaignServiceInterface

2019-10-10 Thread Sriram V
Hi,

I am syncing down the objects from Google using CampaignServiceInterface of
adwords axis v201809 jar. I am getting bunch of campaigns and their sub
types for my account. As I see all of those campaigns I sync down using
this API has advertisingChannelType as SEARCH.
Now I download the clicks and impressions for the campaigns under my
account using CampaignPerformanceReport and there I get Video campaigns as
well which was not part of my original sync. This causes differences
between between my object sync and cost sync as cost sync brings in new
objects that are not in the system. Kindly let me know if this is expected
what is the recommendation to overcome this.

Re: Adding audiences to ad groups

2019-10-10 Thread Kavitha Acharya
Hi Anthony,

Thank you for the information.
During my research , I found the following thread from the forum
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!search/customIntentId|sort:date/adwords-api/_sEkj5vYIMs/v4PJeob_DAAJ
   and
tried it out.

I was able to successfully add the custom audiences data into the Add
manger(please find the attached screenshot).But while trying to link it to
the ad-group, it failed with "EntityNotFound.INVALID_ID" error.

Below is the data being passed to CustomAffinityService

let custom_intent_obj = {
'xsi:type' : 'CustomAffinity',
name   : custom_audience.name,
CustomAffinityType : 'CUSTOM_INTENT'
}

Below is the data being passed to criterion creation of the custom audience
using the id returned from the CustomAffinityService.

criterion = {
'xsi:type' : 'CriterionCustomIntent',
customIntentId : parseInt(custom_intent.entries[0].id)
}

Below is the soap error.

Re: Query for AdwordsUserListService and Device

2019-10-10 Thread Arnab Ganguly
Hey Pete,
Thanks for your help.So if I make the biomodifier value 0 for that device,
then it is going to be excluded (
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v2/ad_group_bid_modifier
)?
In the UI I see BIdAdj as -100%.So does it mean it is excluded ?

RE: Responsive Display finalUrlSuffix character limit

2019-10-10 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Reggie,

Thank you for writing to us. The limits for 'finalUrlSuffix' field in the API
should match the limits in the web interface. There is no maximum limit
documented for this field, however a URL has a maximum limit of around 2000
characters before it will no longer function properly in some browsers. So, you
might want your URL to be specified within the practical limits. Let us know if
you have any further concerns.

RE: Mutate members, CrmBasedUserList

2019-10-10 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hello Michel,

Please find my response below inline:

- Can I provide fake (but valid; lowercase, no spaces etc..) e-mail addresses,
for testing purposes?
--> You cannot provide fake email addresses even for testing. The emails
addresses should be existing and should be able to targeted by Google networks.

- I've made a few successful API calls (with more than 1000 members), but the
List size remains 0. How can I debug this? The docs say, it can take up to 48
hours before the data is visible, I've waited for more than 3 days now.
-->Lets say you have sent 1500 email addresses and out of which 700 emails are
able to target by Google networks. Even then according to the customer match
considerations the list will show the size as zero only. Only after reaching
more than 1,000 target-able members the list will show the size rounded to the
two most significant digits

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: Adding audiences to ad groups

2019-10-10 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Kavitha,

In order to create the custom intent audience, you must first create a custom
user list using AdWordUserListService. The name that you give the user list
will be the text that shows up in the field that you were asking about. Also,
the ID you pass will be the ID of the custom user list you created. The UI
equivalent is going to Tools & Settings -> Audience Manager if you would like
to try it out in the UI first (the ID to pass to the criterion will be the list
ID).

How to fetch Unique Users from the Reporting API?

2019-10-10 Thread Andrea Canedoli
Hi,

It is stated on this page that cookie-based Reach metrics are deprecated as
of July 31st 2019, and that the "Unique Users" metric should be used
instead from here on:
https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/2472714?hl=en

So far we have been fetching cooke-based reach data from the
`ImpressionReach` attribute of the Campaign Performance Report (here
).

The same report does not seem to provide any metric resembling "Unique
Users", nor does any other report as per the current API documentation.

Is it possible at all to fetch this information from the Google Ads API?

Thank you!

Would it be possible to find out the chosen/selected billing account of a
customerr client account?
I know there's the BudgetOrderService with its getBillingAccounts()
function, but this only returns all available billing accounts for that
client customer.

Thanks
Frank

Hello,

Yes, we received your client customer id and the error response in the private

"Could you please verify if your credentials are correct? Please try the below
CURL request provided and see if you are able to generate the access token. If
your credentials are correct, you should be able to generate an access token
for the below CURL request.

curl https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v4/token \

If your credentials are incorrect or the issue persists, could you please try

Mutate members, CrmBasedUserList

2019-10-10 Thread Michel Maldonado
Hello,

I'm trying to populate a UserList in the following way.

public function populateUserList(UserList $list, User ...$users) : void
{
$members = [];
foreach ($users as $user) {
$member = new Member();
// Hash normalized email addresses based on SHA-256 hashing
algorithm.

$member->setHashedEmail(self::normalizeAndHash($user->getEmailAddress()));
$members[] = $member;
}

$operation = new MutateMembersOperation();
$operand = new MutateMembersOperand();

$operand->setUserListId($list->getId());
$operand->setMembersList($members);
$operation->setOperand($operand);
$operation->setOperator(Operator::ADD);
$mutateMembersOperations[] = $operation;

/** @var MutateMembersReturnValue $result */
$result =
$this->userListService->mutateMembers($mutateMembersOperations);

foreach ($result->getUserLists() as $userList) {
$this->logger->debug(
printf(
"%d email addresses were uploaded to user list with name
'%s'"
. " and ID %d and are scheduled for review.\n",
count($users),
$userList->getName(),
$userList->getId()
)
);
}
}

I have two questions:

- Can I provide fake (but valid; lowercase, no spaces etc..) e-mail
addresses, for testing purposes?
- I've made a few successful API calls (with more than 1000 members), but
the List size remains 0. How can I debug this? The docs say, it can take up
to 48 hours before the data is visible, I've waited for more than 3 days
now.

Thanks in advance!

Michel

Responsive Search and Display limit per Ad group

Hi,

I just want to clarify the limit per ad group of both Responsive Search and
Display Ads.
I found from 1 of your documents that there is a limit of 3 active
responsive search per ad group.
Then how about the responsive display? I cant find its limit in any of your
documents.

Please advise.

Is there now any option to recover those campaigns?

Thanks for reaching out to our support team.

However, since your concern is more specific to Python client library

I hope this helps.

Hi Suresh,

Thank you for reaching out.

The EntityNotFound.INVALID_ID occurs when ID of the entity you are operating on
isn't valid. In your scenario, most likely any one of AdGroup ID, Campaign ID
or Keyword ID doesn't exist in your account. With this, I would recommend you
to check if the specified IDs are indeed exist using CampaignService.get(),
AdGroupService.get() and AdGroupCriterionService.get().

After checking this and if the issue still persists, so I can further
investigate the issue, could you provide the complete SOAP request and response

GEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT returns data per ad group while not adding ad group segment

2019-10-10 Thread Tiana S.
Hi guys,

The documentation for the GEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT states the following:

*The GEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT gives all statistics aggregated at the
country/territory level. If other segment fields are used, you may get more
than one row per country/territory. The AdGroupName

 field
is of type Segment behavior so you are getting the one row corresponding to
each AdGroupName plus CountryCriteriaId

 combination.
Please check out GEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

 document
for more details.*

So if you don't have any other segments, data should be returned per
"Country/Territory", however when I request data from this endpoint it
always returns data per Ad Group. This would be OK if I was adding
AdGroupName or AdGroupId to my query, but I'm not... All I am requesting is
CountryCriteriaId and Impressions.

Since this does not match what's explained in the documentation, I was
wondering if this may be a bug.

Thanks,

Tiana

Reg: KeywordEstimateRequest

2019-10-10 Thread Suresh Kumar Shenbagam
Hi,

I am trying to get the traffic estimate for keywords. I am using this the
following program for traffic estimate,
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/samples/java/optimization#get-keyword-traffic-estimates

I am able to retrieve estimates, if I do not set adgroup id, campaign id or
keyword id.

But if I set the adgroup id, campaign id and keyword id, I am getting the
error,
[EntityNotFound.INVALID_ID @ ]

Can someone tell me , what would be the problem here? I can send the SOAP
request, if required.

Suresh

RE: Setting multiple countries to location parameter in LocationSearchParameter (Python API)

2019-10-10 Thread Google Ads API Forum Advisor Prod
Hi Muhammad,

Thank you for reaching out.

In setting the LocationSearchParameter, the required field of the Location
object is the id, therefore, you need to set this, and not the country code. To
get the location criterion ID that you can use, you can refer to the geo
targets guide on which you can open the geo targets table. For example, for
Germany, the criterion ID is 2276, Austria is 2040 and Switzerland is 2756.

# Location setting (optional).
selector['searchParameters'].append({
'xsi_type': 'LocationSearchParameter',
'locations': [{'id': '2276'}, {'id': '2040'}, {'id': '2756'}]
})

If you would like to retrieve keyword stats, you may specify the requestType as
STATS and you can request the stats for keywords that the user already has.

Please let me know if you have further clarifications.

Hiroyuki
