Hi all!
Can anybody recommend a supplier of pre-terminated direct burial fiber cables?
I need a few lengths with 12 fibers and SC connectors.

Nate, email m...@savvitechnologies.com - P/N for one in the pic would
be LW-PFA-SC/APC-SC/UPC-R4.8-50FT-B3-B - Change the connector types /
lengths to what you want and ask for a quote. Cable is 4.8mm.
Josh - On buildings for the most part.

Where do you get the patch cables from?
I've been having Bestronics make my cables with 'uniboot' LC
Connectors The outdoor jacket goes right into the LC plug. Looks very
similar to your SC connector.

Funny thing is we don't even use these on towers. LC is just better for
low density applications

My guy got back to me and can make me cables with LC on one end so that's
what I'm gonna do.

sends me is marked as spam so I have a filter to force it to my inbox
The optics are LC - bidi or not - so we're stuck with LC. LC jumpers are

Thanks Josh.
What a PITA. Any work around? I miss my AFMUG fix.
We've been using SC BiDi SFPS for years to run fiber to radios. With
4.8MM rugged fiber cables it makes it really simple.I've honestly
wondered why anyone using BiDi would want to use LC for BiDi. Doesn't make
a lot of sens
Gmail made some changes at the end of March and AFMUG and Gmail are in a
fight.
I'm surprised they make SFP with SC anywhere honestly so I can't help on
the SFP+.

Moving to some of the newer Siklu gear with SFP+ ports and was surprised to
find 10Gig BiDi SFPs with SC connectors aren't available from FS. Anyone
know of a source or someone who can make them?
P.S. I haven't seen any traffic on this list for awhile. Did we have
another unsubscribe event?
