I get a similar email fairly regularly at my event venue. They're going to
try to get you to pay the "band" up front, after which they claim they will
pay you for the whole thing as a package (they don't). Obviously, the band
does not exist and the whole thing is a scam.

What are you guys using for customer routers? The best option I've found
overall is TP Link, but their system only manages their mesh routers at the
moment. The best hardware I've found is Calix, but their management is

I wouldn't put Putin on the left. Having said that, it's my opinion that
the far left and far right converge, no meaningful difference as far as
their damage potential to humanity.
I agree with Steve that actual centrists are what is needed, and along with
it some compromise between parties.

The biggest issue with wireless IMO is the continuously rising noise
floor, more so than the capacity (for now at least). At some point it is
going to be unusable for links of any decent range - everything will need
to be microcell. Fiber does not have this problem.

My drop conduit is 3/4" HDPE, but my ONT closure accepts 1" PVC. I had been
just using the flared end of a stick of PVC and tension fitting it to the
HDPE, but with PVC prices skyrocketing I'd like to find a better way to do
this since I use a 10ft stick

Does anyone know of any government funding, either grants, low interest
loans, or a combination of the two, for smaller fiber projects? I've got
some small groups of houses that are largely stranded, and private funding
a fiber build to these locations doesn't make a lot of sense.

If the form factor of MTC units works better for you I would definitely use
those. The transtector units are overpriced, the only reason I use them is

numbers listed in a 18ghz PCN, are they paying the FCC fees for each of
these? I haven't seen a PCN like this before, I actually didn't know you
