Which is kind of BS, since technically according to ham radio rules you can't operate crypto of any sort on ham radio bands, but most modern 802.11n/802.11ac 5100 to 6000 MHz capable radios (Mikrotiks which will ignore the US country code, for example) will not even form a link unless you're using
