We use EZ-cat connectors. Often when plugging in the connector we briefly
short it out on the metal of RJ45 jack. It would be nice if the current
trip would auto reset to. Really looking forward to this product. I think
you should skip WispaAmerica and stay home and work on it. Lol.
On Fri,
It will most likely have 4 power buses assuming I don't run out of
mechanical room - 2 for certain. Max 12A per bus. (So you can only power
12 airfibers per bus, sorry...)
You will be able to jumper which bus(es) you will use on each port. And
my intent is to set it up so if you jumper more
Say I have it powering 24 and 48 volt devices. Will it have dual inputs,
24 and 48 or will it just have 48 volt input? Do you need beta testers?
This will really clean up some of my busy sites.

Well, my memory apparently wasn't all that faulty This is close enough
that unless you're running this in a very hot cabinet they should work.

If those are the ones which use standard PoE, they should.
The question being the wattage. I think some of them are about 55W. The
magnetics I use are rated 1A total across the magnetic. But that's at
high temperatures. If they're just over 1A (aka 48W@48V or 56W@56V, you
should be fine).
Yep, we use those for POEs held down with zip ties.

I believe the max spec for the Lumina HP is about 55 watts. Slightly
more than an AF24 at 50 watts (@ 50V). Maybe 56V would bring the current
down a little. Forrest did say 1A max per port, which would be right on
the edge for the AF24. So there has to be a little wiggle room in there.
The standard packetflux daisy chain capability is a must. Let us add
existing joints to the assembly brother. And also that blank mount for the
guts of the r port existing, and the packetflux screwdiverz, and popcorn,
and a pony that poops out unicorns

What we have at most sites is a SiteMonitor Base and an injector or two
of some time. A couple old 4 ports, an 8 port, or a 4 port +
SyncInjector, etc. So a "couple" expansion modules is probably enough in
most cases. A few newer sites have the 5ch PDUs + 2 relay / 3 switch.
One site has the
The great thing about those ventilated shallow rack shelves is that you can
aggressively ziptie stuff down onto them, to keep it in place even when
cables are pushed/pulled/wiggled, connected and disconnected.

I could go either way. 4x4 for 16 or 6x3 for 18. More ports is always
