Yes, there's a simple way to do just that. Are you familiar with the audio
editor Audacity? I often refer to it as a word document in audio format,
because of the way you edit files with it. Just like Word, you have to
select text prior to deleting or changing it in any way.

is connected to Logitech. "Blue" has nothing to do with the color. The one I
bought is black.

yes, it is a fat ball with a neat design that sits on a small tripod stand. It
is a uSB connection (this is what Adrian asked for) with the jack located in
