tandem with the "Alternate Level
to Surround Out" switch, but I'm not sure.
Can the switches be documented. They seem to function, just not
exactly the way I thought. Is this my error??
I'm using 'aplay' if that makes any difference.

At the moment it appears that mpg123 will work in oss for now.

Am I missing something simple to get this thing working?? From the
look of things, I should have all the stuff working. I even attempted
to try an ISAPNP, but that didn't appear to work either.
Any bet
I was compiling).
Oh, well. Good intensions gone bad. Looks like one needs to
compile/install parts, not compile parts, then install parts.

If necessary, I can provide the 'strace' or the output from
'snd_pcm_dump', b
d line to make it work. It is a bit confusing.
Writing the program is the "easy" part. Figuring out the commands and
the like is a bit difficult. Any assistance would be quite helpful.
Clues??

Or should the OSS emulation provide the information?
I will agree that this isn't the highest in the list of things to do,
not is it "absolutely" necessary, but it would be "a good th
bits implemented) where the samples are stored. It has room for
a bunch of samples seperate for each channel (for both input and
output).
And so it goes. I will look into the other documents for clues.
Thanks for pointers, etc...

If you want some info, I can forward some (or post them).
Once things get started, I can do the debugging, but that "start" is
my most difficult thing.
Thanks.
