I have installed latest version of xine (from cvs), Soundblaster Audigy
Platinum EX, Desktop Theater 5.1 DTT2500 Digital and the latest alsa-drivers
from cvs.
I get no sound out of the boxes if i try to play my dvd's or mp3 with
alsaplayer or noatun from kde !

DELL latitude cpiA366XT with the Neomagic 256AV sound chip.
However, I have a teething problem. When I run a dvd the flow is
continually interrupted by:-
alsa-space: xrun of at least 2.120 msecs. resetting

We've seen some folks improve this by paying close attention to what
interrupt their audio card is on, assuming you are on a single processor
system. We have not tested SMP yet.
If you card is not on IRQ 9 or 10, can you get it there and take another
look at this?

My computer is a portable Toshiba 2800 S202, with a yamaha YMF-754, chip.
Audio works just fine, no problems with esd, arts or anything else.
