Hello Robert, Use plughw instead of hw in these lines. hw doesn't do any sample rate or format conversion, that may be what is going on. Tried arecord -f dat -D plughw:0,3 -d 20 test.wav and talked into the mic for over 20 seconds and the -d switch never kicked in I guess. When I
