Is there some reason the application doesn't do mono? Almost all
I've seen allow you to record only one track. Even on my MCP61, or
my Mobile Pre. Which are stereo devices. You could look at
audacity to see how it does it.

Sorry if this turns out to be minor, but I have reached my limit of head
pounding and googling.
Should be simple, but I cannot persuade my system to record, or at
least the recording has no sound. I can hear side tones from the mic,
and they go off if I mute it, but nothing recorded

I'm looking for set of instructions for installing a MIDI Timepiece AV
on Ubunutu Studio (hardy). Any tips? I go the kernel module to load by
blacklisting the parallel port modules, but it's not working. Help?
