Hi All,
I installed Amanda 2.6.1p2 into Redhat EL 6 and am evaluating it
for the company for which I am working.
The RPM package I installed is included in a install DVD of Redhat EL 6.
I tried to use chg-disk, but encounterd a problem.
I set tpchanger in newer style, just like this:
Has anyone experimented with using ionice to bump up the priority of the
taper processes? I have a pretty solid amanda server, but the LTO4
drive I've recently started using is so fast that I don't think I'm
keeping it saturated. I'd happily trade off dumper performance to keep
the tape drive
it may be better to lower the priority of amanda dumper.
