I have allways worked with big antennas and now I did it with a yagi
that you can hold in your hand.
The portable gives 2 watts of rf power and I was surprised that my
signal was so clear to copy.

later, verify calls, and log them. I use a Y cord to the earpiece and
recorder, but some recorders will pass the audio through.
