No it can't, to do that, you'll need to meddle with the transaction, and you
should NEVER modify the
transaction in a script,
I hope you still got the discussion log on #svn...
about what you said, it's true, but then it's completly stupid and noone does a
'svn update -r 10 gui.tcl', a
user will have all his files at the same revision...
+ a dev will UPDATE before doing a commit, and a devel will always do the
commit
The luyer patches are not yet all commited, but I did some of them
(the one about selecting text in chatwindow). I'll take care of
everything for that.
.dylibs are not yet commited to aMSN branch, we still need to find a
good solution about the issue with PPC/Intel stuff, so for the
moment
MediaWiki update available, I suggest we wait a few weeks for any bugfixes
before we upgrade..
I'm subscribe to their release announcement ML so I'll keep you informed if a
new release (security issues
fixed) is available so we can upgrade.

Nope I asked that first on #svn but no it isn't possible...

No what I mean is if a user plays and do a half update of its working copy the
svn_date won't be reliable..

If a pre-commit script can check that, maybe it can also update it
automatically? Just wondering
And what about branches? I think the script should check only for branches
that change. so committing to trunk will require the svn_date on trunk to be
modified, and a commit to a branch will re
Hey, that is not 100% true... if we always check the revision of the base
directory (e.g. amsn/trunk/amsn) then there is no trouble, because it will
change at every commit to a file in there or in any sub-folder.

Hum,
discussed a lot on #svn
And they pointed a big trouble
svn_date can't reliably determine the version since each file can be at its
own release so I can have a file from one date and another from another

Hello,
I think I have finally found a solution for the svn_date problem, here's what I
suggest
We should have a svn_date file (or dev_version maybe) with the content :
DATE
REVISION NUMBER
This file will have to be automatically regenerated by US everytime we want to
do a commit.. so that svn_da
I agree with the autopackage, and put a note up that for major
distributions you can just use their package manager to install/update.
What distro's have amsn in their default configuration (which means
installable without enabling extra stuff, but not necessarily installed
by default)?

It won't be doable for RC1 because autopackage needs some mods in the compiled

As RC1 is already tagged we need to tag another version with these mods...

Heya,I was just wondering what the status of the RC 1 brach was?? I mean, how many of the Luyer patches have been commited? Are there more of the patches pending to be accepted? Are the Universal Dylibs in the branch? Or is Jérome still waiting to commit them? Sorry for so many questions!! It's jus
