management of topbar colors is a little more complex than changing of image...
In fact, you only have one topbar that should be in neutral color : reference
color should be #7f7f7f but that's only to make things easier...
Now you have this pixmap you can affect its color using these
I think the different kinds of notifications are too similar
just the different color of the dot in the upper left corner isn't enough
and even the text ain't immediate to read
I was thinking of something like this (if you don't like the colors,
they're easy to change)

So I just checked the skin, and I think it looks quite good. What is a bit
annoying though is the large contrast between the strongly visible tops of

Since we gonna use Emerald2.0 SVG sources for this New Look i must ask:
which are the images or part of the skin that should be changed/improved to
fit with a New Default skin?. I will need this to start designing and see if
i could have it done for 0.97 release.
