[analog-help] cannot pipe output in unix

Currently running version 2.11, and looking to go to version 3 sometime soon. I am new to analog, and am having a bit of a problem getting the output of the analog script to be passed as input to another program. Having gone throuth the FAQ and the configuration guide, I thought it should be
