Hi, I have solved the problem. Analog cannot resolve some ip addresses due
to that they are not in the DNSCACHE file. Since I don't really need any
DNS file, I commented all DNS Stuff in the analog.cfg. Then I've got a
report including all ip addresses. Thank you again!

Thank you. Now I found that the ip 10.23.229.69 is actually the webserver.
How can I ignore it from the report? I don't want it being counted as
unknown domain.
I've tried HOSTEXCLUDE. But it doesn't work.

Well, in that case it's everything else that lists itself as "Mozilla/*
(compatbile*". My guess is these are probably mosltly robots.

In moving from 5.32 to 6.0, I'm finding corrupted
lines in the COMPUTER output file. Here are a few
of those lines:

"Netscape (compatile)" generally is an alias for any browser that
matches "Mozilla/* (compatible*". These days that's pretty much just IE.

Your log file(s) record information provided by each browser.

Hi,
I've been partly able to answer my own questions, by carefully decoding the
server log entries, and using "BROWALIAS" to create new names. For example,
I can tell how many of my IE 5 users are Mac and how many are Windows. This
info then appears in the Browser Report. However, the Browser Su

Check you coinfiguration for BROWALIAS commands that might be setting
these names. IIRC, the latest versions of Analog (5 and 6) do not need
any BROWALIAS command to properly identify Internet Explorer, etc.

I sent this query a while back and got no answer. Anyone want to take a
crack at it? This is with regard to the Browser Summary. In our server
logs, the appCodeName is ALWAYS Mozilla, and the appName for Mozilla,
Netscape, Safari and Firefox is always "Netscape." So how does the report

Your best approach would be to use aliases. Depending on the complexity,
you may or may not need regular expressions.
I would suggest a FILEALIAS to convert to a "file type:"
FILEALIAS /scripts/getdoc?*;o=H /scripts/getdoc/$1.html
And then a REQALIAS to "fix" it in the report:
REQALIAS /scr

I'm having problems with displaying all "sub
requests" of a page on the request report using analog 6.0.
For example I get the following output:
