Hi Everyone,
Just a thought.
1. How do you get trust that the reviews are safe for your unique and
amazing apps?
2. Are you free to provide you with such own keywords to use in the reviews?
3. How long does it take for reviews to appear?
4. How long does reviews stay?
5. A lot of reviews

Hey all,
You're right that Google rarely if ever shares release dates or promises
new features, and this post won't be any exception. I can say, though, that
we met with the PM in charge of the Play pubsite yesterday, and had a great
discussion about how to improve the review and feedback
Haha. The list of experience :)
Seriously though, sometimes you just need to answer, but I think that if you
find you have to do it am lot, something is wrong with your process.
It took us a while, but we learned how to handle it.

Yes.
Is Google rolling this new feature out slowly over time? When is the date
after which all developers will have it.

You laugh but I am guilty of #4 and #5 and after a couple of those, I got a
personal e-mail from a user telling me my responses were a bit negative.
I amended them the next day.
Good advice!

Actually, when you think about it, it would actually not be a good idea to
be able to respond to people in the review comments.
You might have the best intentions, but it *would* escalate into something
you most definitely don't want in reviews.

Updates to old reviews. Sadly reviews are only upgraded when the old review
is deleted and new one is created.

Yup, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I had hoped switching to google
plus accounts would help, but they haven't done that. They just hid the

Sometimes it is vital to answer at comments, because people will check the
reviews and might see the stupid comments mentioned above and decide not to
download it, which leads in less downloads and money lose in cases.
