I bought a couple of Cosmic Crisp at TJ's too. My wife and I thought they were
good, with a texture like Honeycrisp, but not as flavorful. But the flavor of
Honeycrisp is variable depending on growing region, market chain, etc. We are
moving in a few weeks to NE OR, just south of Walla Walla.
I just bought a few cosmic crisp at Trader Joe's. The clerk exclaimed about how
terrific they are. I haven't taken a bite, yet. I was pleasantly surprised to
see at least eight apple cultivars in the shelves, though.
