Hi all,
We've recently started testing v2.8.1 and are stuck on an issue on the public
interface side. On the Collection Organization tab of a resource (i.e.
repositories/4/resources/6423/collection_organization), the left-side pane is
empty; whereas with v2.7.2 it contained the collection

Hi everyone,
We are running across an error loading a digital object on the public front end
site (but does load and function fine on the backend staff side). Nothing
immediately looks out of place with that digital object record as compared to
others. I tried re-saving the record to force a

Is the case, and which version of ArchivesSpace are you running?

That should only happen when the setup-database script was run for a later
version of ArchivesSpace. But if that isn't the case, you could try manually
reverting the schema number in the database to see if that resolves your issue.

I've had to do that at
I have historically used a soft reindex (removing state directories and not
touching Solr) when there is an issue with the data that has occurred outside
of an upgrade (when I can be sure there is no changes to Solr configs or
schema). An example would be that someone sees a record a certain

The files don't get written to the state directory until indexing has fully
completed. So if ArchivesSpace restarts before then, it will try to re-index
from the start again.

I ran into that exact problem. You need to make a change to the solrconfig.xml
and schema.xml to have it load the ICU filter. Here is links to the exact
changes you need to make to the file:

Hi all,
I recently tried upgrading from v2.8.1 to v3.0.2. The upgrade itself went
smoothly (database migrations run and full Solr reindex), but users are not
able to login to the staff side.
After a successful login we see the green message: "Login Successful.

In my experience, just doing a "save" on the staff side (without needing to
make any changes to the record) should trigger a reindex for that one record. I
actually had to do this just the other day, but because I updated the record

Hi Bennett,
We had a similar issue back in December, but our entire collection organization
tab didn't load (and it was consistent).

Hi all,
We just tested the plugin with v3.1.1 and it doesn't appear to be compatible
with that version. This is the error that was logged:

Hi Ivan,
Unfortunately I don't have any experience running ArchivesSpace as a Windows
Service. But in general, if it's having trouble starting up, there should be
something telling you why in the logs. I've found it can be helpful to
configure the logs to go to separate files for each
Hi Tom,
This is our setup:

separate Docker containers for ArchivesSpace and Solr, running v3.1.1.

You connect to the database that your ArchivesSpace instance is using and run
that SQL command. The connection information should be in your config.yml file.
