Others may have answers here, but I’m also going to put a support ticket in for

Dear AS community,
It appears that since the latest update, that we are experiencing difficulties
with subject headings. We have created one, but cannot find it in a subsequent
search in Edit record or Browse subjects. When we try to create it again, we
receive the attached error message.
Hello all,
We're just finishing up our migration to ASpace so I'm a new user. I'm looking
ahead to customizing the PUI and getting that launched. I'm wondering about
subject listings in resource records: it looks like names, places, genres and
topics all get listed in one long list rather than
I can provide an incomplete answer and hopefully somebody will chime in

The immediate cause of the error seems to be that the subject record that's

Good morning all,
Does anyone know what might cause the following error? It sounds like a
database issue, but I've started with a clean database on each migration
attempt. All subjects fail to migrate with the same error, everything else
appears to go over smoothly.

Hi Dean,
My understanding is that the headings are listed in the order in which they
were added to the record. I never figured out a way to remedy this other
than to rearrange them manually. Hopefully someone out there has found a
better way.
Best,

Do you mean the main list of subjects in the staff interface (Browse >>

If it's the main subject list in the staff interface, there are options at

The subject listing in our ArchivesSpace is not alphabetical but
appears almost random. Can anyone tell me the tweak to fix
that?
