Did you change the root blkid in the extlinux.conf and /etc/fstab files to be consistent with your your ssd?  I am booting and using F29 Mate on my Odroid-Xu4 with no issues.  However, that said, I created my own boot script as well to download and install Fedora images, rather than use the

This was 'easy' Install image on uSD and do all the steps to make it bootable.  But instead of growing the rootfs partition, delete it. Install image on the sata.  Enlarge the rootfs and delete the boot partition. Insert the uSD and sata drive and boot. That is all it takes.  It helps
