I don't think that model is unique to Oracle, most likely other companies have
it too. The point that is interesting is that Oracle is mixing the Fusion stuff
in the middle of closed source software in the first place; Oracle also sells

By that time, there must a way for me to write a workaround.
Any idea ?

I've seen this.
Go to the Application Admin console. Then click on
the 'Assignment link'. Make sure you have an
Assignment record setup for the WorkOrder module.
Then, when you have it setup, look at the radio
buttons along the bottom right hand side of the record
and ensure the Work Order
Not without having a user trigger the add via an active link, which does
work.
The ardbc filesystem plugin could work, but I haven't gone there yet.

Serouche,
I think your going about this a bit sideways... or at least the long
way around the barn.
If your getting the unique identifier from an ARS form that already

attachment?
But maybe I am not understanding the exact
When you have the UI of the attachment, you may try a set fields from the form

Troy,
Thanks for the response.
I've already checked that and there is already a record for Work Order

correctly.

As we approach the annual RUG week, finish a week with volatile subjects,
VOTE for MVP etc, and just in general appreciate the usefulness of having a

I totally agree. THANK YOU, DAN!
There should be some way that we can all show our appreciation to Dan without

The simple answer is, we don't maintain row level security but access to data
can be locked down to specific users.
But row level security wouldn't be hard to implement - it's just an if
statement. If someone asks, it'll happen!

Hy Carey,
You said to me that maybe the Entry isn't created...
When you said missing value for required field ... do you also referred for
core fields??? Like fields that are filled by the system? Or even fields like

'cause I'm not setting core fields
Now I tried to remove the finally block
The result is like this...
public String insert()

entry.create();
sEntryId = entry.getEntryID().toString();
return sEntryId;
}
catch ( ARException are )
{
System.out.println(are.toString());
Actually it was Thilo that said that the entry might not be being created.
