ACTLINK_SET is an internal meta data table, that the AR System uses to store information of all the Set Fields actions from all Active Links.. Considering that nearly 70% to 80% or even more Active Links from most systems contain set field actions, this table is expected to be pretty large..

Andy, May I ask why not use the Request ID field itself for whatever you are doing if all you want to do is copy the value of the Request ID field itself to that field that you have created? The reason you do not see the request id field in ordinary set field actions is that set field actions

An incorrect language can cause that.. Since you are on Oracle make sure that the NLS_LANG that is set on the database during the create time of the AR System database that contains these forms, matches the NLS_LANG that the oracle client is set to where your AR System server resides.. Joe

Joe, ARS server, its components, all of ITSM apps installed and operated fine on this server, with the same language packs. Only after SRM 2.2 install with the same language packs does this issue surface. Language related settings have remained the same all the time, in database, at OS level
