Hi Robert,
Did you check the connectivity between your AR server and the webservice box

the admintool is trying to load the file http://www.w3.org/2005/05/xmlmime.
Your machine running the admintool must have access to the internet either

Whatever TCP port your destination AR Servers are running on. If you are
running portmapper only then this could change on every restart.

If you want to make sure that it is a maximum of 8 digits do the following.

Hello fellow listers,
We are planning to have a development server to be set up as AR

What kind of hardware would you suggest in terms of number of processors,
memory, disk space, etc?
Is local DB (SQL Server) okay or a remote DB preferred?

Hi Jase
There should be no problems doing that. The problem is if you try to move
defs the other way round - you cannot move from a 7 server to a 6 server.

I am planning a similar thing here. I think it might be best to run
the DB remotely. That way it is not taking up resources from your

your Remedy server, you should be fine.
We are going to be using a VM environment with 2 x 3

I can't comment on the DB server, sorry. I just asked my DBA to use

He added it to our Oracle RAC environment. It is an Oracle 10GR2

Mark, the only thing I would add to Brian's email is first make UPPER

check for the upper case "E" or "I" add it to his replace. Or do do

Hope this helps
