In what way did strcpy change in RHEL6? I'd have thought this
functionality wouldn't have changed much in a decade. Also, I'd expect
strlcpy to used..

We are on SQL 2005 and use Idera SQL safe and replicate the data twice daily.
Works well and compression is much better that what is provided in SQL 2005. I
hear SQL 2008 has some enhancements and will be looking into it once we are
done with the upgrade to ITSM 8

Hi,
You need to make sure both Solaris 9 and RHEL 6 recognize the common date
format. You can achieve this by setting the ARDATE environment variable.

Marcelo, if I had to guess (and I guess I do) I would say no. The windows
phone has such a small market share that I doubt they would put much time
into it. That said, they aren't going to have an iPhone app out for ITSM
till 2014!
They seem to be moving away from the browser on the phones also
Does anyone have SSO enabled to work with the Kinetic Calendar Remedy add-on
application? I am looking for information on implementing SSO for Kinetic
Calendar and the files needed to implement it. I know an SSO adapter file has
to be used. Does anyone have the SSO adapter for Kinetic Calendar?
The reason you want an app is so that you can do offline updates. This cannot
be achieved with a web interface.

Good morning, afternoon and evening all,
I think that RKM 7.6.4 uses paper licenses, but I was wondering how many came
with the module.
Also am I correct that it is a paper license and if so how can one keep track
of the usage?
As always take care and thanks,

I would be curious (but not enough to set up a poll) to see how necessary
offline updates are given how ubiquitous WiFi and mobile connectivity is.
There are other benefits that I can think of, such as taking advantage of

Hi Howard,
No user licenses come with the module. User capacity is purchased separately
from the application.
It is not correct to say the RKM User licenses are paper - they are not. You
require an AR System user license to be able to perform administration or

Is there a way to log changes to a dairy?
I would like to log all changes and who made them to a dairy field that I can
review.
Any ideas on the best way to accomplish this?
Thanks,

Andy,
I never tried it but you should be able to turn on the Audit property of a
diary field. Though it seems redundant unless you want to review Diary updates
in a separate form with each entry a separate record.
Thank you,

I'm sorry. I meant to ask if there was a way to track changes to a Character
field, not a Diary.
I would like to log all changes made to a Character and have that stored in a
Diary field. I would like to know what value was there before and after a
change is made as well as who made it.
Andy
LOL I a little slow today. It took me a minute to get that one.
Everyone please substitute Diary every I typed Dairy. (-:

Java System Solutions makes OOB SSO adapters for all of Kinetic products.
They are the SSO experts - I would give them a call.

Andy,
Ok Use a filter with a Run If to do TR.Character_Field != $NULL$
Then a Set Fields to the Diary field using Character_Field.
That will add the changed value of the Character field to the diary field.

Thanks. I guess my confusion is the old version of RKM and the current one. I
saw that we own 7 of something called a knowledge management specialist

So I am trying to understand what licenses (other then AR or ITSM) are needed

I was wondering if anyone used that plugin
The standard OOTB way is quite simple:
You'll need a display only (change flag off) field to hold the old value
(through a set fields).
If you want to track changes such as setting a value to NULL, the below
qualification is insufficient. Presumably you'll also not want to audit the
